A severe cyclonic storm is expected to cross Tamil Nadu and Puducherry coasts between Karaikal and Mamallapuram at a point near Puducherry on November 25, 2020 evening with a wind speed of 120-130 kmph gusting to 145 kmph, the Met department said on November 24 evening. Over 21 cm of rainfall is expected in the above areas on November 25.
