12 trains cancelled by S Rly for Nov 17

Chennai:
Southern Railway has cancelled 12 trains scheduled for departure from Chennai and other parts of South India on November 17 following heavy rains in Chennai and parts of Andhra Pradesh.
The following trains have been cancelled on November 17 – Chennai-Howrah Coromandel Express, Chennai-Ahmedabad Navajeevan Express, Chennai-Lucknow express, Chennai Egmore-Gaya weekly Express, Madurai Hazrat Nizamuddin Express, Villupuram – Kharagpur bi-weekly Express, Alappuzha – Dhanbad Express, Thiruvananthapuram – Gorakhpur Express, Vijayawada – Chennai Central Pinakini Express (both ways), Gudur – Chennai Central passenger train (both ways).
Several other trains have been diverted on November 17 –
1. Train No.12625 Thiruvananthapuram – New Delhi Kerala express that left Thiruvananthapuram at 11.15 hrs. on 16.11.2015 will be diverted via Renigunta, Gooty, Guntakkal, Raichur, Secunderabad and Balharshah.
2. Train No.16687/16787 Mangalore / Tirunelveli – Vaishno Devi Katra express on 16.11.2015 will be diverted via Renigunta, Gooty, Guntakkal, Raichur, Secunderabad and Balharshah.
3. Train No.22643 Ernakulam – Patna express, that left Ernakulam at 17.10 hrs. on 16.11.2015 & scheduled to leave Chennai Central at 06.30 hrs.on 17.11.2015, will be diverted via Melpakkam, Renigunta, Gooty, Dhone, Guntur and Vijayawada.
4. Train No.17229 Thiruvananthapuram – Hyderabad Sabari express, scheduled to leave Thiruvananthapuram at 07.15 hrs. on 17.11.2015, will be diverted via Renigunta, Gooty, Raichur and Begampet.
