    Heavy rains are predicted for several parts of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and northern Tamil Nadu under the influence of cyclonic storm Nivar though it has weakened into a Deep Depression, the met department said on November 26. Heavy rains are likely for Tirupati.

Areas near Puducherry, Cuddalore, Vellore, Kanchipuram, Mamallapuram and Tambaram in Tamil Nadu were largely affected due to heavy rains and strong winds.
