He also had considerable experience at The Press Trust of India and in online media.
He is currently President of the oldest professional organisation of journalists in Tamil Nadu, the Madras Reporters Guild.
He is also a member of the Press Accreditation Committee of the Tamil Nadu Government and a member of the Pension Committee of the Tamil Nadu Government.
