S Rly cancels many trains due to Chennai rains

Chennai:
Southern Railway has cancelled the Chennai-New Delhi Tamil Nadu Express and the Howrah Mail scheduled for November 16 due to heavy rains in Chennai. Several other trains were also cancelled or diverted.
The following trains have also been cancelled: Chennai Egmore – Guwahati weekly Express, Chennai Central – Tirupati Express, Chennai Central Saptagiri Express and the Chennai Central – Bilaspur weekly Express, Chennai Egmore – Kakinada Port Circar Express, Chennai Central – Chhapra Ganga Kaveri Express, Chennai Central – Puri weekly Express on November 16.
A large number of trains were also diverted or rescheduled.
