Heavy rains batter Tamil Nadu

Heavy rains continued to batter Tamil Nadu especially its northern region including Chennai on December 1 under the influence of a trough of low over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining South Andaman sea.

Friday, November 13, 2015, Chennai

Schools and colleges in Chennai will remain closed on November 14 due to heavy rains. Educational institutions in Kanchipuram and Villupuram will also remain closed on November 14.
