The death toll due to heavy rains in Tamil Nadu has gone up to 105, police said. The death tally has been calculated from October 28 when the heavy rains began under the impact of the north-east monsoon.

The death toll in the Cuddalore rains and floods has gone up to 32 on November 11. The toll was earlier estimated at 22. TN CM J Jayalalithaa announced relief of Rs 4 lakh to each of the bereaved families.
