New Delhi: Three Exit Polls have predicted a win for the DMK-led alliance in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, while Exit Poll of one  agency has given a win to the AIADMK. The Poll of Polls by NDTV (average of various Exit Polls) places DMK at 117, and AIADMK at 105, Others at 12 and the BJP 0, while the average of Times Now has DMK + at 117, AIADMK 108, and Others at 9 in the 234-member House. It is a close election, perhaps Too Close To Call given, the normal error percentage of  3 per cent. However, the polls do indicate a sharp decline for the AIADMK from the 2014 Lok Sabha sweep.

The minor parties like the Third Front led by Vijayakanth's DMDK with five other allies -- MDMK, TMC, VCK, CPM and CPI-- besides the PMK could play a key role in government formation.  The Others could include the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) with its young wing leader Anbumani Ramadoss projected as a chief ministerial candidate.

The Axis-India Today Exit Poll gives a majority to the DMK-led alliance with 124 to 140 seats, AIADMK 89-101, Ohters 4-8, BJP 0-3.

News Nation is another exit poll which indicates a lead for DMK + with 114-118 seats, close to a  majority, and AIADMK a close second with 95-99 seats, Others 4-8 seats which include the Third Front and the PMK, and BJP 2-3.

Chanakya Exit Poll has indicated 140 seats for the DMK-led alliance, and 90 for the AIADMK, and only 4 to the Others.

ABP News survey says the DMK alliance could have a clear lead with 132 seats, and the AIADMK 95, and the others getting 7 seats.

However, Times Now C-Voter predicts a big win for AIADMK with 139 seats and only 78 to DMK-led alliance. It has given Others 1-7 seats, and 0 for the BJP.

In Puducherry, the Poll of Polls, average of four exit polls, gives a slight lead to the DMK-led alliance with 16 seats in the 30-member House, 10 to AINRC, 3 to the AIADMK, and 1 to Others.
