Schools in Chennai to remain closed on Nov 12

Chennai:
The Chennai Collector has announced that schools and colleges in Chennai would remain closed on Thursday, November 12, due to heavy rains.
Chennai has been subjected to rains right from November 9. Most schools remained closed since Saturday due to heavy rain and the Deepavali festival.
A deep depression in the Nay of Bengal off the Puducherry coast had caused heavy rainfall in the coastal districts of Cuddalore, Villipuram, Nagapattinam and Chennai.
