Parveen Travels introduces exclusive bus service for women

Chennai: Parveen Travels, a top travel brand of South India, has taken an extra step to make women feel safer during bus travel. It has
introduced an exclusive bus for women to Madurai and back during week-ends, said its CMD, Afzal.

"We are announcing an exclusive bus for women passengers covering major destinations in South India and this service will cover the
Chennai-Madurai destinations to begin with. The bus will be operated on weekends and will be in line with all the safety norms as
registered in the Respect Women for Life Literature", Afzal said.

Parveen Travels understands the hassles faced by women passengers during the festival rush, said its Director, Sadiq.

"Respect Women for Life is one such initiative, through which have taken the first step towards creating a better world around us.
Parveen has conducted extensive research and has formulated a set of regulations to be implemented by travel operators to ensure
safe travel of women passengers", Sadiq said.

Anoop Menon, CTO, RedBus, said RedBus would support the initiative of Parveen Travels for safer travel by women.
