Carnatic vocalist and teacher Suguna Purushothaman
Senior Carnatic vocalist and guru Suguna Purusothaman, who hailed from the Musiri school of music, died here on February 25. She was 74. She is survived by her husband and two daughters. She was undergoing treatment for cancer.
