Dr. Richard John Beale, Consultant Intensivist at the London Bridge Hospital, has been drafted by the private hospital in Chennai to treat Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa, giving an indication of the kind of ailment she suffers from. He visited the hospital on Friday to assess her condition, and continued to check on her on Saturday.
