Rajni, Kamal to join hands for Nadigar Sangam cricket match

Super stars of the South, Rajnikanth and Kamal Haasan are coming together on a project. This is not for a film but to raise funds for the construction of the new Nadigar Sangam building.
They will appear at a cricket match organised by the Nadigar Sangam ( South Indian Artistes’ Association).
The match will be played in Chennai on April 10 to raise funds to construct the Nadigar Sangam building.
The Nadigar Sangam now has Rs 48 lakh in cash. It has raised a loan of Rs 2 crore from the bank. To raise more funds to complete the building, a celebrity cricket match is being organized. The entire Tamil film fraternity will come together for this initiative, Nadigar Sangam sources said.
The Nadigar Sangam’s earlier project, mooted by former president Sarath Kumar and his brother-in-law Radha Ravi, envisaged a multiplex on the site to be operated by a theatre group. This was one of the reasons why several actors got together against the duo in the elections and defeated them. The new team is keen on raising resources internally and to use the building for the Sangam activities
