Schoolgirl Samanvithaa programme on Murugan Avathaaram, Valli Kalyanam

A tenth standard, school girl, K S Samanvithaa, presented a discourse on Murugan Avathaaramum, Valli Kalyanamum, at Vadapalani Sivasn Temple (Pulityur Vengeswarar) on May 11, 2016, as part of the Sashti programme organised by Chennai 2000 Plus Trust and Sri Krishna Sweets.
The Harikatha programme, featuring a lecture and music, was held at the ancient Vadapalani Sivan Temple.
'Nandaa Deepam' Samanvithaa studies in 10 th standard in Hindu Higher School in Triplicane. Her Harikatha guru is Kalaimamani Gowri Rajagopal.
Samanvithaa received the Nandha Deepam award from Nandhala Trust, Mylapore.
Various topics handled by her in the past included Vinayagar Perumai, Meenatchi Kalyanam, Baktha Prahaladhan, Gajendara Moksham, Thirunavukkurasar, Valli Kalyanam.
She has also performed in Chennai at Mylapore Karpagambal Temple, Ashok Nagar Sarva Sakthi Vinagayar Temple, Raja Annamalai Puram Karpaga Vinayagar Temple, Triplicane Pandurangan Temple, Palavakkam Vijaya Ganapthy Temple, Nanganallur Anjenyar Temple, Raja Annamalai Mandram, Chidambaram Ellari, Thiruvenkadu, as also in Hyderabad.
