DMK wins Harur Assembly byelection by over 10,000 votes

Chennai:
Krishnakumar C (DMK) won the Harur Assembly constituency byelection in Tamil Nadu. He defeated his nearest rival, Sampath Kumar V of AIADMK by 10,113 votes.
Krishnakumar secured 100,782 votes as against 90,669 bagged by V Sampath Kumar by AIADMK.
Among others trailing are Murugan R (AMMK), Thileep P. (NTK).
The seat was held by AIADMK in 2016.
22 Assembly constituencies are up for grabs in the by-elections in Tamil Nadu.
