Sathya S.A (DMK) wins Hosur Assembly bypoll by 23,213 votes

Sathya S.A (DMK) has been declared elected from Hosur Assembly byelection in Tamil Nadu. He defeated nearest AIADMK rival Jyothi. S by 23,213 votes.
Sathya secured 115,027 votes (50.3 per cent) as against 91,814 votes of Jyothi (40.15 per cent). .
Among others trailing are Pugazhendi V A (AMMK) Jeyapal P (MNM) and Rajasekar M (NTK).
The seat was held by AIADMK in 2016.
22 Assembly constituencies are up for grabs in the by-elections in Tamil Nadu.
