Senthil Balaji leads in Aravakurichi Assembly byelection by over 14,000 votes

Former minister Senthil Balaji (DMK) leads in Aravakurichi Assembly constituency of Tamil Nadu. He is ahead of VV Senthilnathan (AIADMK) by 14,818 votes.
Senthil Balaji has so far secured 48,942 votes (53.72 per cent) as against 34,124 of AIADMK candidate (37.45per cent). Margin 16.27 per cent.
Among others trailing are P H Shahul Hameed (AMMK) -- , S. Mohanraj (MNM) and Selvam (NTK).
The seat was held by AIADMK in 2016. Senthil Balaji who was with the TTV Dhinakaran camp recently joined the DMK.
22 Assembly constituencies are up for grabs in the by-elections in Tamil Nadu.
