Early trends for NDA in Lok Sabha elections, YSRCP in AP

Counting has begun for 541 Lok Sabha constituencies in the country, with early trends, based on postal ballots, giving a lead to the NDA over the opposition. The NDA was leading in 89 seats (loss of 6 seats) , the UPA in 23 (a gain of one), and others in 33 (a gain of 4). In Uttar Pradesh, a close contest seems to be in the offing,
In Andhra pradesh, YSRCP is in the lead in 18 Lok Sabha constituencies and the TDP in 2 ourt of 21 seats for which trends are available. In Tamil Nadu, the first lead went to the DMK Lok sabha candidate in Namakkal constituency.
In Karnataka, early trends give a lead to the BJP, while Congress is leading in 2 Haryana seats, while Goa is tied one-one between the UPA and the NDA. .
At the moment, the .NDA is trailing in five seats which it won in 2014, while the UPA is gaining one, and the others in 5.
BJP is holding on to its leads in Madhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and.Gujarat.
