CBI raids Chidambaram, son Karti residences in Chennai

Chennai:
Former Union Finance minister P Chidambaram's house in Chennai is being raided by the CBI.
CBI sources confirmed the raids at residences of Congress leader Chidambaram and his son Karti in Chennai.
Simultaneuous raids were are also on at 14 places in Chennai, the sources said.
The raids were also being conducted at Delhi, NOIDA and Chandigarh.
The searches were conducted with relation to charges against Karti Chidambaram's company and the enabling of FIPB clearances for
foreign investment to a media company INX Media in 2007-08 for a consideration.
Indrani and Peter Mukherjea residences were also being searched in connection with the case in which an FIR had been filed against Karti Chidambaram and others.
