Watchman in Jaya's Kodanadu Estate murdered, investigation on

Kodanadu:
A watchman in late chief minister J Jayalalithaa's Kodanadu Tea Estate in the Nilgiris (Tamil Nadu) was found dead in the early hours of April 24.
Another watchman was said to have sustained inuries. He was found tied with a rope near the estate gate (number 10). Nearly 30 watchmen have been employed by the management in the tea estate.
The Kodanadu Tea Estate, spread over 1,100 acres in the Eastern Slope of the Nilgiris, was on the properties to be confiscated by the court towards a disproportionate assets case involving Jayalalithaa, Sasikala and others..
The murdered watchman was identified as Ohm Bahadhur Thapa(50). The injured watchman has been identified as Krishna Bahadhur Thapa (37). Police said both hailed from Nepal.
Inbestigation is on into the death.
The Nilgiris superintendent of police Murali Rambha said there was no external injury on the body of Ohm Bahadhur Thapa.
The injured watchman has been admitted to Kotagiri Government Hospital.
The estate was cordoned off for security reasons.
