IT men raid Gokulam chit fund branches at 80 places including Chennai

Chennai:
The Income Tax department carried out extensive raids at 80 places in the country including the Chennai office of Gokulam Chit finance company and its branches.
In Chennai, the office at Kodambakkam was searched. Similar raids were undertaken in other parts of Tamil Nadu, Bengaluru, Puducherry, Kerala and other centres.
The raids were conducted with the help of the police and para-military forces.
