AIADMK Coimbatore North MLA Arun Kumar joins OPS group

AIADMK Coimbatore North MLA Arun Kumar, who quit the Sasikala group of the AIADMK, ahead of the confidence vote in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, formally joined the AIADMK group led by former CM O Panneerselvam on March 12.
He visited the OPS group office in Chennai and joined the group in the presence of party seniors.
Arun Kumar was among the MLAs who was in the resort in the week before the confidence vote, and dramatically quit the Sasikala group a day before the special Assembly session.
Arun Kumar abstained from voting in the confidence vote.
With the inclusion of Arun Kumar, the strength of the OPS group has gone up to 12, as against 122 with CM Edappadi Palaniswami.
