The BJP will extend moral support to O Panneerselvam, and the Governor can provide an opportunity to OPS to prove his majority
in the Assembly, says National Secretary H Raja.
The Governor can try to verify the authenticity of signatures of MLAs said to have been signed in favour of Sasikala at the AIADMK
Legislature Party meeting, Raja said.
Raja said he appreciated the decision of Panneerselvam to speak out on the events in the AIADMK.
Panneerselvam has said Sasikala's brother Divakar had spoken to him about the need to elect Sasikala as chief minister.
The AIADMK had already split after the death of Jayalalithaa. It was not formalised earlier but now it had come out in the open, Raja
said.
