TN Governor Vidyasagar Rao gets update from hospital on Jaya health

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Governor Vidyasagar Rao visited the private hospital in Chennai where Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa suffered a heart attack on Dec 4 evening. He got an update from the doctors on her medical condition, the line of treatment and the future course of treatment.

Rao, who is Governor of Maharashtra holding additional charge of Tamil Nadu, had been asked by Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to rush to Chennai and from Mumbai and check on Jayalaliuthaa's condition.

Rao rushed to the hospital from the Chennai airport soon after his arrival from Mumbai.
