DMK fields Pallani Shamy and Anjugam for TN bypolls

The DMK has fielded K C Pallani Shachamy and Dr Anjugam Bhoopathy for Aravakurichi and Thanjavur bypolls to be held on November 19.
Party president M Karunanidhi announced the names of the candidates after conducting intervews with applicants for the byelection tickets.
The DMK, like the AIADMK, has not changed its candidates, earlier announced for the May general elections. The polls in these two constituencies were countermanded before the elections due to charges of irregularities against both parties.
Dr P Saravanan will be the DMK candidate for the Tiruparankundram by-election to be held on November 19.
