Triumphant Jaya rededicates herself to service of TN people

AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa said she would re-dedicate herself to the cause of the Tamil Nadu people who had placed abiding faith in her.
Noting that the people had voted for the ruling party for the first time since 1984, Jayalalithaa said that this was affirmation of her policies for the people. She said, “I have no words to describe this victory”, adding that the AIADMK went into the elections on its own without an alliance unlike the others who formed several fronts to fight the AIADMK.
She said she formed an alliance with God and the people.
