Pudhiya Thalaimurai channel poll survey gives AIADMK 164 seats

Pudhiya Thalaimurai TV channel's opinion poll has given the ruling AIADMK a clear majority in the May 16 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, with 164 seats, with the DMK-led alliance coming second with 66 seats. The others will get only four seats, the survey carriewd out with APT says.
The survey estimates that the ruling AIADMK will bag 38.58 per cent of the votes, and the DMK 32.11. The Vijayakanth-led six party front will net 8.55 per cent of the votes. The PMK, BJP and Naam Thamizhar Katchi will get 4.47 per cent, Naam Thamizhar Katchi (NTK) 2.12 per cent, and the BJP 1.96 per cent of the votes.
3.75 per cent of the voters will cast their vote for others (who will get a vote share of 3.75 per cent, while 8.45 per cent did not give any opinion as they were not aware whom to vote for.
About 20 per cent of those surveyed said the third front was a strong alliance. The AIADMK contnued to have a high level of support among women. It is only in the central zone, that the DMK gets an edge over the AIUSADMK. Othewrwise, in all other zones, the AIADMK is ahead of the DMK in terms of vote-share.
