DMK and Congress finalise seat sharing for Puducherry elections

Chennai: The DMK and Congress have reached an understanding for the Puducherry Assembly elections, with the Congress to contest 21 seats and the DMK 9.

The alliance was formalized during talks held by Puducherry Congress leader Namasivayam.

Former Puducherry chief minister V Vaithilingam and former Union minister V Narayanaswamy were also present during the discussions.
