Vijayakanth front to contest 28 seats in Puducherry

Puducherry: The Vijayakanth front comprising DMDK and PWF will contest 28 seats in the Puducherry Assembly elections on May 16.

CPI will contest 8 seats,  Viduthalai Siruthaigal Katchi (VCK) 7 seats,  MDMK 4, CPM 4, DMDK 4, and Puratchigara Socialist party 1 seat.

Elections to the  Puducherry Assembly will be held on the same day as in Tamil Nadu.
