IUML, PT constituencies identified by DMK

Chennai:
The Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has been allotted Vaniyambadi, Poompuhar, Kadaiyanallur, Villupuram and Manapparai constituencies as part of the DMK-led alliance for the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
An agreement to this effect was finalised following talks with DMK leaders in Chennai on April 8, 2016, IUML leader Khader Mohideen said.
The DMK and IUML had already announced an agreement for allotment of 5 seats to the IUML. During talks on Friday, the five constituencies were identified.
Meanwhile, Pudhiya Tamizhagam was allotted the following constituencies -- Ottapidaram, Vasudevanallur, Srivilliputhur and Krishnarayapuram. Its leader Dr K Krishnasamy told mediapersons his party was totally satisfied with the talks held and the allotment of constituencies on Friday.
