Chennai:
The DMK on March 25 allotted five seats to the Manidhaneya Makkal Katchi led by Jawahirullah for the May 16 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.
The MMK is fighting the elections as a part of the DMK-led alliance.
At talks held in Chennai today, DMK president M Karunanidhi and Jawahirullah finalized the seat-sharing arrangement between the two parties.
Jawahirullah said he was happy over the decision.
Another Muslim organization, the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) which is also a constituent of the DMK-led alliance, will contest five seats.
The constituencies would be identified later, Jawahirullah said.
