Classical music concert on Anjanaeya and Rama at Nanganallur

Nanmangalam Sisters, Karpagam and Meenalakshmi, rendered a special music concert on Anjaneyar at Nanganallur Anjaneya Temple in Chennai on March 31, 2016. The programme was organised by Chennai 2000 Plus Trust and Sri Krishna Sweets as part of the initiative to spread awareness about historical places in Chennai and their antiquity, and about the cultural, literary and historical treasures in and around Chennai.
Nanmangalam Sisters rendered songs on Anjaneya and Rama as part of the Jai Hanuman programme.
They were accompanied by Sai Priyadarshini on the violin and Seshadri on the mridangam.
Chennai 2000 Plus Trust President R Rangaraj said the Trust was holding such programmes at the Nanganallur Anjaneyar temple
dedicated to Lord Anjaneyar on Moola Nakshatram day, which is special to Hanuman.
