Director Magizh Thirumeni's next film Meegaamann with actor Arya is said to be an international crime thriller set against the backdrop of drug mafia.
The film would be so crime centric that it would feature seven villains. Arya himself is said to play a hi-tech thief.
The film shoot is now on in Goa.
The director has done a lot of research on the drug market and how the international cartels operate, especially in Hong Kong, Mexico and Eastern Europe.
These foreign locales, however, may come in handy for some song sequences too as actors seem to insist upon as part of a movie script. Not to mention some music directors who love to compose only in such exotic foreign locales.
