A photo of Congress president Rahul Gandhi at kauvery Hospital in Chennai has proved that DMK president M Karunanidhi is much better and that he is improving.

The photo shows DMK Working President and Karunanidhi's son M K Stalin speaking to Karunanidhi who is very much conscious and not on any life-saving support. 

Rahul Gandhi is seen standing next to Stalin, along with other doctors.

Although Karunanidhi continues to be in ICU, he seems to have recovered from the drop in pulse rate and BP two days ago, due to which he was admitted to the hospital.

Rahul Gandhi spoke to Stalin, kanimozhi and the doctors about Karunanidhi's health, and made enquiries. 

Rahul Gandhi was accompanied by TNCC president S Thirunavuikkarasar and AICC leader Mukul Wasnik.

The release of the photograph by DMK circles was received with jubilation by DMK cadres in frint of the hospital.

Rahul Gandhi said he met with Karunanidhi and found him stable and strong.

"He is a strong person like the strong people of Tamil Nadu", Rahul told mediapersons.  He said he came to Chennai to enquire about Karunanidhi's health as "we have a long relationship". He added that Sonia Gandhi had asked him to convey her good wishes to Karunanidhi.
