Thala Ajith undergoes surgery after release of Vedalam

Thala Ajith underwent a surgeryon November 13 after the release of his film 'Vedalam' directed by Siva. The actor had injured his leg on the last day of the shoot for 'Vedalam' and has been on crutches since.
Doctors said they had successfully operated on both his leg and shoulders.
Ajith had earlier planned to go through the surgery by the end of November but had decided to advance it as he was in pain on November 12. The injury was on the same leg on which he underwent a surgery a few years ago and had a plate fixed. Doctors advised him to go in for the surgery at the earliest.
The surgery was completed in six hours. Ajith is said to be well and doctors said he could be discharged soon.
