Rajinikanth to meet his fans for 5 days from May 15

Fans of Superstar Rajinikanth will have an opportunity to meet him during a 5-day stint in Chennai from May 15. Although
Rajinikanth has denied any move to enter politics, his fans are mounting pressure on him to take the plunge, taking advantage of the
present political situation after the death of AIADMK leader J Jayalalithaa.
Rajinkanth is meeting his fans after a gap of eight years. He will meet the fans at his auditorium, Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in
Kodambakkam for five days from May 15.
His PR manager, Riaz Ahmed, said fans were invited to meet, greet and pose for photographs with Rajinikanth.
He had created a political storm in January when he said the present political situation in the State was "unusual", while speaking at an
event held in Chennai.
It is no more than a photo-op, his manager said. Rajinikanth had planned the photo-op event a month later but cancelled it, citing
security concerns, as his fans wanted a one-to-one session.
