Actor Shaam in Asthram, a crime-investigation thriller
Actor Shaam's upcoming film 'Asthram: The Secret' is to be released on March 7, with the release date put off from February 21 and February date.
Touted as a crime-investigation thriller, the film's story is Jegan MS. Nizhalgal Ravi, Aroul D Shankar, Jeeva Ravi, and a newcomer, Ranjith DSM, are in the cast of Asthram.
For Aravind Rajagopal, who has several short films to his credit, Ashtram will be his first full-length film. The director said, "During the pandemic, my team and I made a 30-minute pilot film. Recognising the exceptional quality of the story, we made the collective decision to transform it into a full-length feature. The talented story writer, Jagan, has masterfully crafted the narrative. As a result, the film has taken shape as an enthralling crime investigation thriller."
Sundaramoorthy, who had done the music for Airaa, 8 Thottakkal, and Bommai Nayagi, has composed the music for Asthram. It has cinematography by Kalyan and editing by Boopathy.
Asthram is supported backed by Dhana Shanmugamani of Best Movies, while Five Star Company gets the theatrical distribution rights.
