Who is a Tamilian? Tamil Superstar Rajinikanth in response to this poser, answered the question himself at an interaction with his fans
in Chennai on May 19.
"You have made me a Tamilian", Rajinikanth said to a cheering audience of his fans.
"When I came to Tamil Nadu from Karnataka to act in films, I had nothing with me. You have given me me affection, fame and
money", Rajinikanth said, adding, "You have made me a Tamilian"
.
On the criticism of some people in the social media against him, charging him with being a Kannadiga or a Marathi, Rajinikanth said
he would not go to Karnataka or any other State if asked to leave Tamil Nadu. "I will settle down in the Himalayas if I get thrown out
of Tamil Nadu".
