Chennai: Shankar's I is expected to be released on January 9, 2015. Cinematographer PC Sreeram has posted on his micro-blogging page, "9th January 2015 we will all be

blessed with "I". A red letter day for Indian cinema."

Shankar's big-budget movie would be released in 3,000 screens. I film will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi.

The movie has Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead. A R Rahman has scored the music.
