Noted actor Kamal Haasan has been admitted to Apollo Hospital on Greams Road in Chennai but is expected to be discharged in a day's time.
Doctors suspect it to be a case of food poisoning.
Sources close to the actor said he would be fine soon and would be discharged in a day's time.
Kamal Haasan is now working on the Tamil remake of Malayalam movie, Drishyam, titled Papanasam. He would have Gautami as the heroine.
Shooting for another Tamil film, Uthama Villain, is over and the movie is expected to be released soon.
